Kayleigh Doughty, a London born Visual Artist specialising in bespoke Murals, Installations, character design, illustration and Street art. Commonly known as ‘ARTiSTA’, she has had a vibrant self-directed career for over ten years, working with some major brands including ITV, Dulux, Pebeo and the Tate Collective.

A fine art graduate and Youth Tate Modern Prize winner, ARTiSTA took her talent and creativity to the streets where she became one of the first major female UK street artists to be acknowledged on the scene. Her ‘In Bloom’ signature style – which is naturally bright, colourful, playful and engaging – has received a lot of positive press and recognition over the years and has lead to commissioned work and solo / group art shows.

Aside from her professional practice, she has always been heavily involved in curating projects that engage the community in a positive way. Leading numerous workshops for various youth led organisations, galleries and schools providing her expertise and knowledge for the benefit of young people to actively express themselves creatively.

2018 brought an evolution in Kayleigh’s traditional 2D spray art with The Wallery Gallery in Stockholm, Sweden, hosting her first Solo International Art Show ‘Paint by Nature’. This show saw her first works that incorporated her bright, bold and colourful 2D style ‘In Bloom’ with realistic, 3D oil painted images as a collaborated piece.

Following her success in Sweden, Kayleigh hopes for this show to be the first of many to feature her new works in the UK as she continues to trail blaze the limits of the scene.

“Like me, I want to help others see the world from different perspectives, to be able to step away from the everyday view and take inspiration from elsewhere to come up with ideas, solutions and new ways of doing things – and to express this through art”.
